Camus CAMUS was founded by Jean-Baptiste Camus in the French town of Cognac in 1863. It is the largest independent family business outside the four major Cognac houses, and is also the largest wine merchant in the Borderies single-producing region. Borderies is the smallest of the six major production areas of Cognac. The grapes have unique violet floral aroma and nutty undertones. This is the taste signature of the entire Camus series. The brand is famous in the Chinese market for its "Camus Élégance" logo (gold flower pattern on the bottle). It was used as a high-end banquet wine in Hong Kong from the 1960s to the 1980s.
