Hennessy Extra is not a common product line, but a high-end aging wine launched at the same time as XO in 1870. It is positioned between XO and Hennessy Paradis (Paradis). The bottle adopts a Henry IV style matte round bottle design with strong red and gold colors, which is a favorite among experienced collectors. The market circulation is much less than that of XO, so the identification of each Extra must be more careful.

Identify authenticity

The frosted feel of the matte bottle, the accuracy of hot stamping with red gold lines, and the metallic texture of the bottle cap are the most direct identification points. Common flaws of imitation products: the frosted layer is slippery (too smooth to the touch), the red printing is orange, and the seams of the bottle cap are rough. Can there be fingerprint oil on the matte bottle that can be cleaned?

Can Extra be sold without the original carton?
