Hennessy VSOP stands for "Privilège Special Honor Class" and is one of the brands with the most storied story: it was ordered by the British Prince of Wales (later George IV) in 1817, and the "VSOP" classification was born. For collectors, the focus is on pursuing the old version with "Privilège" and the "Cordon Bleu Cordon" version from the 1980s.
If you have more than one bottle of wine, you can first group it by brand, level or year, and then use the following series pages to compare similar prices:
| Version/Era | Identification characteristics and collection points |
| 1970–1985 Old Version Cordon Bleu Cordon VSOP | The bottle neck has a blue ribbon design, a metal cap, and a pure English back label. It is an entry-level treasure in the Hennessy VSOP collection. |
| 1990s Privilège lettering VSOP | There is "Privilège" on the front of the bottle, a transitional version. |
| Current VSOP Privilège | Sleek carved glass bottle with red and black label. |
| Co-branded/limited edition bottle | Futura 2000, UVA, Pop Art series, limited to cities (Tokyo, Shanghai, Hong Kong), extremely valuable for collection. |
| Gift box/double bottle set | Festive Edition Magnum 1.5L, 3L large bottle size, complete with original wooden box, the premium is obvious. |
The top of the authentic bottle cap is engraved with the words "Hennessy" and the LVMH security code on the back will reveal the brand logo when illuminated with purple light. Common flaws in counterfeit products: Cordon Bleu printing is blurred, wine label fonts are out of proportion, and numbers on the bottom of the bottle are inconsistently engraved. For joint editions, it is especially necessary to check whether the box number corresponds to the bottle number.
Send photos to WhatsApp 46135667 and the appraiser will usually respond within 15 minutes. If it is a joint edition/limited edition, the appearance of the card box and the close-up of the logo must be uploaded separately. After confirmation, a representative will be sent to your door for on-site bottle inspection, price negotiation, and cash settlement. The whole process takes about 30 minutes.

For the version most frequently consulted by customers, you can directly click to check the latest buyback value:
Depending on the completeness of the product, including the original carton, Cordon Bleu intact, and the fill level reaching the shoulder, the market price is about 1.3-1.6 times that of the current version. If it comes with a card box and no stain label, the premium can be up to twice.
The co-branded edition is participated by designers and has a limited circulation. The buyback value including the card box is about 1.8-2.5 times the standard VSOP. Be sure to check the serial number on the bottom of the box first.
VSOP is legally aged for 4 years (actually about 7–10 years), and XO is legally aged for 10 years (actually 15–30 years). XO is more mellow and thick, and its buyback value is generally 2.5 to 4 times that of VSOP.
Magnum 1.5L and 3L large bottles are limited editions for festivals, and come with original wooden boxes and ribbons at a discount of 30–50%. However, please pay attention to the risks of transporting large bottles. It is recommended that we come and take them away.
