Martell is the oldest of the four Cognac houses (founded in 1715). The XO level mainly recommends base wines from the Borderies and Fins Bois production areas. The taste is more rounded and floral than the Hennessy series. For old wine collecting circles, Martell XO's "gold head gold ring" (1980s) and "Feitian blue top" (90s) are two recognized hard currencies. The current version was renamed XO Suprême and adopted a red geometric bottle design.
If you have more than one bottle of wine, you can first group it by brand, level or year, and then use the following series pages to compare similar prices:
| Version/Era | Identification characteristics and collection points |
| 1980–1989 Gold Head Gold Circle XO | Metallic gold bottle cap with gold ring, short and fat bottle body, yellow and black color label, and pure English back label. |
| 1990–1999 Feitian blue top XO | Blue plastic long-neck cap, bottle body retains the chunky version, transitional version. |
| Standard XO 2000–2018 | The red label and plastic cover have begun to use the Pernod Ricard Group LOGO. |
| 2018 Post XO Suprême (red geometric bottle) | In the current version, the bottle body has been changed to red three-dimensional geometric sectioned glass, and the red glossy paper box is included. |
| Limited edition crystal bottle / Pierre Hardy co-branded | Artistic collaboration editions are released in small quantities, and the premium is obvious. |
The precision of the moulded Martell swift logo on the base and shoulder is a key authentication point. Common signs of a counterfeit include a blurred gold ring—the genuine ring is metal-plated—an overly glossy blue plastic cap, and shallow lettering on the base. Photograph the full bottle, top of the cap, swift logo on the base and back label. For the red geometric Suprême decanter, also check that the texture on the side of the box matches the facets of the bottle.
Send photos to WhatsApp 46135667, and the appraiser will respond within 15 minutes. If it is an old version of the gold head from the 1980s, it is recommended to wrap it in a separate protective bag (to avoid scratching the gold ring) before visiting the door. After the bottle details are verified on-site, settlement can be made in cash or FPS on the spot, which can be completed in 30 minutes at the earliest.

buyback references of the same category and grade make it easy to compare prices or process them together.
For the version most frequently consulted by customers, you can directly click to check the latest buyback value:
Depending on the packaging and completeness of the product, including the original carton, the fill level reaching the shoulder, and the gold ring without scratches, the market price is about 1.6-2 times that of the current Suprême; the naked bottle is about 1.2-1.4 times.
Feitian blue top is a transitional version from the 1990s, and its buyback value is slightly lower than the gold head and gold ring from the 1980s, but it is still about 30–50% higher than the standard version after 2000. Even the blue Pierre Marie carton is complete and the premium is even more obvious.
The Pierre Hardy designer collaboration series has a small circulation, complete with limited serial number card box, and the buyback value is about 2 times of the standard Suprême.
If the bottle has been opened but the cork is intact and the fill level has dropped slightly (no more than half a centimeter), it can still be collected, but the price is about 60–70% of the unopened bottle.
